- History: Architecture, paths that brought people to Elysian Valley (e.g. Chavez Ravine, Chinatown, freeway)
- Institutions: Rec Center, schools, groups, churches, organizations
- Economy: Affordability, crafts, home enterprises, art, light industrial, mixed use
